February has been filled with so many exciting events and so much learning fun!
Here are a few snapshots from throughout the month.
Thank you to Dr. Rica Adorable for sharing with our class all about Oral Hygiene and what it is like to be a dentist. Leo was very proud to have his mom share her all about her expertise with his friends.
The Hart Museum shared so many opportunities to compare the past and the present. Our docent was so knowledgable and the students loved exploring the beautiful grounds.
We celebrate the 100th Day of First Grade with 100 themed learning.
They wore their 100th Day hats with pride!

February 12-16
What an exciting week we had last week!
Thank you to the chaperones, and all of the families that donated toward the field trip. The students would not have had that experiences without you!
We learned all about William Hart's life and explored the comparisons of the the past and the present.
The students were surprised by how many things were the same, and how some big things were very different during Hart's life.
They also enjoyed seeing the Bison herd on the property, feeding the other animals and sharing a picnic with friends on the beautiful grounds.
100th Day of School was another fun filled day.
We celebrated by making out 100 Day projects, exploring ways to group 100. We also enjoyed a set of 100 themed outdoor activities with all of the first grade classes. It was a fantastic celebration of 100 days of learning!
This Wednesday is Valentine's Day. If your student would like to pass out valentines to all 21 classmates, that would be great!
The first grade is asking that the students bring only valentines, no candy or other treats to distribute to their classmates. Thank you for your cooperation. :)
Monday February 19, President's Day is NO SCHOOL.
Enjoy the three day weekend!
